Duns Fancy Playgun (Fancy)

Fancy is a striking grullo mare who is bred by our good friends Blair and Myrna Anderson at Prairie Mountain Quarter Horses in Trochu, AB.  She has a great pedigree top and bottom, with Playgun, Freckles Playboy, Miss Silver Pistol, Docs Oak and Hollywood Dun It, all on the face of her papers!  Fancy is calm, thoughtful, and easy to handle.  Fancy was sent to our friend Danielle Denoncourt of Debolt, AB for her first 60 days of under-saddle training.  She loves trail riding, lopes fancy circles, and is extremely tenacious on a sticky cow.

Beauty?  Check.  Pedigree?  Check.  Brains?  Check.  This mare simply checks all the boxes we could want in a broodmare, and we get the added bonus of the highly sought-after grullo colour.

Fancy had her first foal in 2023, a cute-as-a-button Red Dun colt by Shiner Leo San from Fleetwood Farms Quarter Horses.  Johnny Storm is very sweet and can be found on our sales page.
